Jon has spent 25 years in a variety of sports, entertainment, media and healthcare-related companies. Before leading TRC, he was CEO of AstroTurf USA and oversaw the re-birth of that brand and led the company from bankruptcy to industry leadership. Jon has developed a significant level of organizational leadership as he has also served as Vice Chairman of French West Vaughan, President/COO of Team Sports Entertainment and President of Scheer Sports, Inc. Pritchett was also VP of Sales at IMG-College and served as Assistant Recruiting Coordinator at the University of South Carolina. While in Columbia, Jon also worked as a television sideline reporter and as host and executive producer of the coaches' television shows. Before doing his graduate work at USC, Jon received his undergraduate in communications from Appalachian State University. He also is a graduate of the Sports Management Institute's executive education program.
Jon makes his home outside of Raleigh, North Carolina. He is happily married to Joan and they have four children and a dog named Boone. At the moment, the oldest is in medical school; one is in the corporate world; one is in undergraduate and the youngest is in second grade. Jon is a sports enthusiast and outdoorsman who likes to hunt, surf, play tennis and golf, and garden. He also enjoys writing on the business of sports for Forbes.com and Forbes Sports Money.
