Jon is an experienced executive who has successfully managed a number of high- growth, early stage and turnaround companies in the sports sector. He has over 30 years of experience in a variety of sports, media, and tech companies, where he has held executive leadership and senior management positions. He is known for his ability to turn around and/or grow companies at scale.
Most recently, Jon spent two years reinvigorating a public policy organization - doubling its resources and dramatically improving its reach and influence. His opinions are published widely in places like the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, National Review, The Sports Business Journal, The American Spectator, and others. From 2009 to 2016, Mr. Pritchett was the President of Club 9 Sports, a sports advisory and investment banking firm he co-founded. Pritchett managed the firm’s sports transactions business, as well as several sports technology deals. He also worked as a consultant and interim executive for i-1 biometrics, (now Athlete Intelligence), a software and hardware company leveraging technology to measure and understand sports concussions.
From 2003 to 2009, Mr. Pritchett was CEO of AstroTurf USA where he oversaw the dramatic turnaround of the company. Mr. Pritchett also spent four years at IMG College as VP of National Sales - dramatically growing key accounts - and four years as president of Scheer Sports, where he ran the company’s team ownership and league consulting business. Jon did his graduate work at the University of South Carolina and his undergraduate work at Appalachian State University.
Doug is a Senior Financial and Operations Executive with 40 years of experience in diverse settings including Fortune 500 consumer packaged goods, distribution and manufacturing environments. He has demonstrated ability and success leading and managing through change and meeting business needs with practical, cost-effective solutions.
Matt West has been using his background in sports business and as a professional baseball player to provide executive leadership and sales training for nearly 15 years. His clients have included Capitol Broadcasting, John Deere, CB Richard Ellis and many others and he has also worked closely with entrepreneurs and early stage companies. Additionally, West has significant relationships with all branches of the country’s military. He and his wife Juliana have the distinct honor of having sent all three of their daughters to the United States Naval Academy. Matt makes his home in Pinehurst, NC.
Phil has deep experience in the global sports, media, entertainment, event, and sponsorship industry. He has worked for or consulted with some of the biggest brands in sports and his track record of growing revenue and completing transactions is impressive. Phil’s career has taken him from the Harlem Globetrotters to IMG Sports Marketing and from CSE to the PGA Tour. In additional to his significant business development work, Phil’s career has also included advising, consulting, selling, and training. Phil and his large family live in the suburbs of Atlanta.
Hank Durschlag has created several successful sports nutritional supplement products/brands over his entrepreneurial career, including FUSE Science and Enlyten. These products have been used by athletes in the NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, PGA, MLS, NCAA and other associations. He was also president of Glucotec, a developer of FDA-approved intravenous medication/insulin dosing software. He has authored or co-authored several patent applications in the field of drug
delivery, sports medicine, drug compounding, and formulations.
Sam spent the first 20 years of his career working in sports and entertainment with a primary focus on the sales and activation of marketing partnerships. He has been fortunate to spend time developing integrated partnerships for major companies like FedEx, Jack Daniels, T-Mobile, McDonalds & Toyota touching properties in MLB, NASCAR, the NFL and the NBA and several minor league sports leagues. Sam and his wife, Tammi are blessed with four boys and 2 dogs and currently reside outside of New Orleans in Abita Springs.
After graduating from The Citadel, Zach's professional experience consists of Enterprise level sales, software development, and consulting for Fortune 500 companies and government agencies. In his free time, he loves to build websites, run, lift weights, play rugby and attempt golf. Zach currently resides in Charleston, SC.
